McCombs will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair during the Spring Conferences, March 12 and March 13. It will be located in the library with hours from 3:15 PM to 7:00 PM both days.
Iowa law now requires that all students entering 7th grade receive a one-time booster of the Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) vaccine. The theme at McCombs Middle School has been Re-Newell, as in Newell McCombs, the school’s namesake and former DMPS Superintendent of Schools between 1941 and 1956.
