Student Council aims to give students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and making a difference in the community, Student Council is the voice of the student body.
Officers (president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and parliamentarian) are elected each year by the student body. They are involved in all decision making of school activities and service projects they take part in. They are also in charge of creating and publishing the McCombs Tribune monthly in order to keep the students and staff informed of school and community activities.
In addition to electing officers every year, each homeroom is given the right to elect two representatives that represent their peers in monthly meetings.
The mission of the McCombs Student Council is to serve our school and community to make McCombs the number one school.
