Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucuses also provide a unique lesson for students as several schools hold mock caucuses about the state’s important role. And it provides the first opportunity to “vote” for many students, as anyone who will be 18 years old by November 8 can participate at the precinct caucuses on February 1.
