Before starting 7th grade in the fall, students must meet a new mandatory state vaccination requirement. Students without proof of vaccination or an exemption will not be allowed to attend classes in the fall. Currently, 35% of McCombs’ incoming 7th grade students do not have the vaccination. McCombs students raised more than $1,500 to support the country of Haiti in their efforts to rebuild.  The students celebrated their accomplishment with a “Reindeer Games” assembly on December 22.  A video summary of the events can be viewed via this link.DMPS TV

They are true originals. Retirees Dave McGinnis and Mike Walag were green teachers the day McCombs Middle School opened its doors for the first time in 1973.
