McCombs Students Earn Recognition at the Science Bound Science Fair
The annual Science Bound Science fair was held last night at North High School. McCombs had 4 students who have spent the last 4 months developing, carrying out, and analyzing a scientific experiment of their choosing. Leonel Lucero and Kaidyn Gutierrez both earned participation awards and Jade Funez earned a science award. There were 80 projects that completed across the district, and only 5 of those 80 earned an Excellence award, meaning they scored 33 of 35 points or higher. Our own Amber Brown was the first ever McCombs student to earn an Excellence award with her project on static electricity. CONGRATULATIONS on your amazing accomplishments!
