Important: Spring and Summer Sports Registration for McCombs Athletes

Dear McCombs Athlete Families,

If your student plans to participate in track, soccer, baseball, or softball this spring or summer and has not already registered for another sport this school year, they must complete the BOUND online registration process before they can practice or compete.

Steps to Complete Registration:

  1. Create a BOUND Account – Follow this step-by-step guide:
Registering Your Student for an Activity
  2. Complete & Sign Required Forms – These are available within the BOUND system:
    • Parent/Guardian Consent Form
    • DMPS Code of Conduct
    • Concussion Awareness Form
  3. Submit a Valid Sports Physical – This must be uploaded to BOUND, ensuring it includes:
    • A doctor’s signature (real or electronic)
    • A statement such as “No restrictions to participate” or “Full and unlimited participation.”

Additional Information:

  • If your student has already registered for another sport this year, their information is on file, and no additional registration is needed unless you have received an email from BOUND to inform you that your student’s physical has expired.
  • McCombs hosts a FREE Sports Physical Clinic on Thursday, March 6th from 4-6pm. You can register for an appointment here: McCombs Athletics: FREE Sports Physical Clinic
  • Other options for FREE clinics including ones at other middle schools can be found by following this link: Sports Physical Opportunities – DMPS Activities

If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact me. I am happy to help guide you through the process or arrange in-person support if needed.

Thank you for ensuring your student is ready for the upcoming season!
