This is an opportunity for students at McCombs to explore biking and have fun with positive adult role models.  If this program runs the same as it has in the past, students that participate fully in training sessions and complete RAGBRAI in the summer get to keep their bike, helmet, water bottle, and possibly even tent after completion.

The only requirement that they have shared with me is that they would like the student to be 13 years old before leaving on the RAGBRAI trip. See below for more information from the youth coordinator Raichel.

My name is Raichel Beierle, I am the Youth Coordinator with Dream Team Des Moines. We are a youth mentor program in Des Moines that uses the power of a bicycle to assist youth in life challenges.
