Unified Together–Eagles Soar!

Dear McCombs Families,
The past week in our country has been an unprecedented one. We hope that you are all staying safe and healthy during these uncertain times. We miss our students and wish we could be there to help them process what is happening in our communities and cities across the country.
We want to make clear that at McCombs, we stand with our students of color and the black community. We are committed to being openly and actively anti-racist in our work. Our administrative team met together to plan ways to improve our practice and we will be having staff review our policies, procedures, and expectations to increase the equitable experiences we provide students. We will also be creating ways to incorporate student and family voices into this work, as we understand that our collaboration will be essential to creating a positive and safe school community.
While we do not know what the future holds for a return to school, we do know that we are in this together. We look forward to seeing you all again. Eagles soar!
