McCombs Named Science Bound Middle School of the Year

Congratulations to the 2016 – 2017 McCombs Middle School students who earned Science Bound middle school of the year from the Iowa State University Science Bound program.  This honor was based on multiple factors including student attendance at Science Bound activities, quality of their end of the year essays, performance at the Science Bound science fair, attendance and performance at summer programming and academic performance.  The McCombs students are Jacqueline Bernardino, Robert Berry, Stefania Hernandez, Tadeo Perez, Jose Rivera, Mauricio Rodriguez, Ixchel Sarabia, and Shareonna Walker.  Pictured with the trophy is Maurcio Rodriguez.
