Hoops for Heart

McCombs Middle School students participated in the Hoops for Heart Fundraiser to raise money for the American Heart Association during their P.E. basketball unit this Spring. McCombs students had a goal to raise $1,000 but due to hard work and dedication our students raised $2,938.00. As a reward for students we planned an afternoon of fun that included student vs. basketball games and an assembly that featured IA Energy Basketball players and their coach. Each student in the school was given a voucher for four to attend one of two IA Energy Basketball games. McCombs Middle School students continue to make the staff proud of the accomplishments and goals they reach!
