The basketball season isn’t over yet, at least at McComb Middle School. The school took to the court last Friday for some games between teachers and students, a little fun to celebrate McCombs raising more than $2,000 for Hoops for the Heart, a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Team One for McCombs Battle of the Books won their first competition and move on to the final competition in April. The team includes Grant Fay, Ashley Sackpraseuth, Raven Mitchell-Johnson, Amie Berndt, and Jacob Chaplin.

The Golden Eagles, our student leadership group here at McCombs, are kicking off February with community service projects to show students care and are stepping up to give back to our community.
