Dream To Teach

Dream 2 Teach is available to all students at McCombs in grades 6-8.

Vision: Dream to Teach exists to serve as a catalyst for the development of future educators who are representative of the Des Moines Public Schools student population.

Mission: Our mission is to support students from diverse cultural backgrounds who desire to become Des Moines Public School educators.

Program will focus on relationship and leadership skills.  Social and communication skills with emphasis on public speaking are key elements of the program as well as learning about what the process is to become a teacher and aspects of being a teacher.
