Ms. Nelson will be hosting a morning walking/running group for girls 6-8 here at McCombs. There will be 20 spots per day. Students may sign up for 1 to 4 days each week. You can sign up to participate just one day each week if you want or sign up for all four days.

· When: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday mornings from 7:30-8 AM
· Grades: Current 6th,7th, and 8th
· Level: Girls with an open-mind about walking/running and it’s benefits.
· Location: McCombs gymnasium
· Season Focus: Each day, we will focus on teamwork and a social-emotional topic as we warm-up. I will coach the girls on walking/running and endurance.

· Expectations:
– Running/athletic shoes, no large-soled sneakers.
– Shorts or comfortable sweat pants.
– Socks
– Water bottle
– Small hand towel
