Say:Poetry!

Say:Poetry! Club is an opportunity for students to express themselves in the written word of poetry.  They meet once a week with their sponsor to go over ideas and watch other poets speak and talk about what they hear.  Students also work together in small groups or as individual to create their own poems that they present to each other.  At the end of the year there is a competition among all DMPS middle schools that offer the program.  The Say:Poetry! Club meets every Monday from 3:30 – 5:00pm in Ms. Campero’s room, #1513.
