Kofu Japan School Exchange Program For DMPS Students
Join us as we travel to our Sister City – Kofu, Japan! Twenty-four students from Des Moines will be selected to travel to Kofu, Japan and be our district ambassadors. Students will enjoy day trips to many unique sites, visit a Japanese school, meet with city officials, enjoy time in Tokyo, and experience many other exciting daytime events. Each night, students and chaperones will enjoy time immersed in Japanese culture with their host families. Students, in turn, will have the opportunity to host students from Kofu in August 2022.
