Athletics

All students interested in any athletics through the Des Moines Public Schools from grades 7 – 12 MUST have completed the online registration for athletics and have a current sports physical on file with the school nurse.  Physicals are good for thirteen months.  There are several free options offered in the community.  Some DMPS schools, including McCombs, offer free clinics sponsored by The Iowa Clinic ahead of each sports season in the fall and at conference times.  Please watch for information about those clinics when it is posted on Infinite Campus and School CNXT.  If you have any questions please contact Darin Dowling, SEC/Activities Director at McCombs.
